BURGESS, Byrel W [1914-1983]
Michigan-born American illustrator and comic mapmaker, better known as “Lefty” Burgess. Served with the US Army in the Second World War in South East Asia and later in Europe and South Korea during the 1950s. Retired to California in the early 1960s.
